Get your morning going!

You’ve heard the saying, “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”. Well it really is. It gets your metabolism going, as well as your digestive system. Whether you’re having an egg, a peice of toast, or a smoothie…

My routine is a cup of green tea and a smoothie, normally delivered to me as I’m still waking up by my boyfriend who takes pity on my sloth like movements in the AM. On the weekends it is my happy duty to make the smoothie, but from Monday to Friday he’s the one in the kitchen at 7AM God bless him.

Our smoothies are most often made of the following ingredients:

1 banana

1 apple

1/4 English cucumber 

6-7 baby carrots

1/2 cup of frozen organic blueberries

1 tablespoon of hemp hearts

1 tablespoon of milled flax seed

2 tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon of natural peanut butter

1 tablespoon of organic oat flakes 

1.5 cups of organic almond milk 

BLEND and enjoy! 🙂
